When I ONLY want to Add Text to a document - but click the Edit option, Adobe automatically starts scanning document which can take a long time before I can actually just Add Text - this didn't used to happen. What is the shortcut to just add a bit of text to a document?  Thanks

On Left hand Edit panel, there's gear setting icon, please uncheck "Recognize scanned text". On next Edit onwards, text recognition won't run automatically and you can add text instantly. Hope, it helps.
