Adobe acobat pro simple y/n required

Been trying to find a way that a yes or no button is required to be answered, but can't get it to work. any idea?

example:     official          yes              no

so either the yes or no has to be checked.

@vtrasikis if you click on Prepare Form' from the 'All Tools,' you can decide to have a Checkbox, radio button, or even a drop-down list

I have done that, before they go on to the next field, they NEED to have that one answered...

First, define "required to be answered". What should happen if it's not filled-in?

then they can go and answer the next question(s).

Then you need to set the other fields as read-only, and then enable them when a selection is made.

Do you have many such fields?

but how would you make it so that either the YES or NO is checked, but NOT both?

Give them both the same name, but unique export values.
