Adobe Acrobat 2017 - Bad File Handle

New Here ,
Jan 16, 2020 Jan 16, 2020

I have combined multiple pdf's into one pdf.  I then added bookmarks within the maset pdf.  I am unable to save the master pdf.  I am getting the "Bad file Handle" error.  How can I save this master pdf?  I have tried renaming the field but that doesn't work either.

Hello louisaD and Amal.

I went to both articles linked by Amal and neither method worked. I'm still not able to save my file. I'm using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.

Please help.

Hi Daaand

We are sorry for the trouble.

Please refer to a similar discussion (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/acrobat-10-standard-unable-to-save/td-p/5528831?page=1) and see if that helps.

Also, please try to update the application to version 11.0.23 released on 14th Nov 2017. Go to Help > Check for updates.

Regards

Amal
