Hey guys
New to this forum thing as do not post often. But i have a pdf that has video in it and t say to open the pdf in Adobe Acrobat 9 or Adobe reader 9 to view it.
I believe i have Adobe acrobat professional 8.0.0 via CS5 suite on my mac / operating on El Capitan. Can anyone tell me:
1) Is there a one off way to to read this PDF in a online version of Acrobat 9, so i dont need to download another piece of software and take up more space, as i dot believe i use it much.
2) If NO to the first answer, ho do i go about upgrading to the latest version so i can get Acrobat 9 on my system?
Thanks again

acrobat 8 cannot be updated to acrobat 9. it can be updated to the last acrobat 8 version.
acrobat 9 is no longer sold by adobe and acrobat 8 is too old to be used to upgrade to the current versions (sold by adobe).
you can buy or subscribe to the latest acrobat versions.
to buy: Adobe products: desktop, web, and mobile applications | Adobe
to subscribe, Plans and pricing | Adobe Acrobat DC

Just open your PDF with the latest free Acrobat Reader DC which runs fine on El Capitan: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions
And be sure to have the Flash Player installed (for the video).
