So Adobe.... did you address the MANY complaints about the AWFUL user interface?? NO THEY DID NOT. Made a few minor changes, but not nearly enough.
Do any official Adobe staff even read these? Do the staff do whatever they think is "good" without ever referring to users. I recently upgraded from Adobe Acrobat Pro 2010 to Pro 2013 Creative Cloud. It is horrible and there are many complaints in this community about the UI. It is ridiculous that Adobe in 2023 has LESS functionality than in 2010 and FAR LESS USABILITY.

Hi @TheCustomer
Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.
We acknowledge that the new Acrobat represents a notable change; however, we hope that as you get familiar with the new interface, you can be more productive and get more out of Acrobat.
We are actively working on the suggestions/feedback and will address them with the highest priority.
As you get more comfortable with the new interface, please contact us with specific questions on tools, features, or functionalities. We’re happy to provide helpful resources and answers to your questions.
If your critical workflows are impacted, you can switch to the old UI from the “Menu” on the top left corner of Windows and View Menu on MacOS.
Please check this detailed community-featured post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/learn-about-new-acrobat/td-p/14078856, guiding you to familiarise yourself with the new interface.
Thanks,
Amal

Hello Amal. You proved that you "read" my post, but showed that my feedback was NOT taken in fully and properly. You effectively told me "too bad that you don't like the new interface".
Thanks for providing instructions for how to go back to the old UI but does that mean that some new Acrobat functionality is NOT then available to me. I paid a huge AUD $348 for what is supposed to be the constantly updated Acrobat with all its new features.

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and sorry to keep you waiting.
You will have access to all the features as you did before, once you go back to the old UI.
Note: Only the UI of the application will change the version remains updated. You can check for updates from the Help menu.

Amal. I paid big money for Acrobat Pro and the fact that it SUPPOSEDLY updates to the newest, latest and greatest version. I did NOT pay to have to use an old version because the latest version is unusable.
You state that Adobe is working on all the feedback. There is NO NEED for you to go through all the suggestions to assess each one. In one relatively easy and quick action, you can just make the "latest" version use the old UI. In other words, fully DELETE your latest version and go back to the much better UI.

When using the classic interface, you are using the current version of Acrobat with the classic UI. That's all. The new interface will still be refined to get better. For me, the new interface is what I use. So I would be unhappy when Adobe would completely delete the new UI.

Hi Amal, your reply here is encouraging that you are reading content. I have been commenting along with a lot of other pre-press, creative, print users in another post on the two features that are now missing in the latest Acrobat Pro release, the option to view page dimensions permanantly in lower left hand corner and scroll bars now gone!!!!!!
These are both vitally important to speed production, to remove them is beyond belief. I have 35 years under my belt on a Mac using creative software for print and seen a lot of issues... I have to say removing PAGE DIMENSIONS is just about the dumbest thing I have ever seen and will go down in my books as the worst upgrade ever on any software, which takes some doing I can tell you.
If the aim is to steadilly slow down the user so eventually another vendor can move in with all the tools we need and scoop the market with a new product then your on track? Even the restyled CC from a few years ago is still NOT as productive as the older versions, yes it looks neater, but its not as fast to use.
Do you have a user group forum who endorse these downgrades before their rolled out, if so do they work for a competitor?
Please read this forum on the link below and put back the dimensions and scroll bars URGENTLY. A positive comment from you to this group that ADOBE are working on it and a fix is coming very soon will go a long way to reach out to very frustrarted professional group of pre-press, print customers.

Making the interface "better" is not just about how sleek and modern it looks. If it functions well, leave it alone. Don't start hiding or omitting things for the sake of making it "pretty". As an everyday tool, users get accustomed to menus, buttons, and features being in the same place and behaving the same way. To have to relearn where things are just for the sake of "pretty" is ridiculous. It's not making it easier nor better. Moving things around is not making the program better. Adding completely new features, features never integrated before, might be making it better.
