Adobe Acrobat Commenting - Pen Tool Turns Off too soon

Another problem with Adobe Acrobat......

When commenting with Adobe Acrobat pen tool.  Why does the pen turn off after the first 'stroke', so that you need to reselect the tool?

All other commenting software works normally, and leaves the pen turned on whilst you are marking up.  Why can't adobe handle this?
