Hello,
I'm trying to make an editable pdf that was originally made in indesign have a drop down, which auto populates two fields lower down. These two fields will then be added to two others (which need to be editable text fields) to show a total below them.
How do I do this?
DropDown: Drop down options will have 3 options, each of these options needs to fill Field1 and Field2.u
Field1: prefilled
Field2: prefilled
Field3: editable
Field4: editable
Field5: total of all fields added together
So far I can only add Field3 and Field4 to show the total in Field5.
I'm a mac user, using Acrobat DC version 21.0
Indesign version is 16.2.1

Do you know JavaScript? You need some basic JavaScript skills to use the more interesting forms features. If you need to brush up on JavaScript, take a look here: http://khkonsulting.com/2017/01/learning-to-program-javascript-for-adobe-acrobat/
For an introduction to using forms in Acrobat, take a look at the turorials here: https://acrobatusers.com - these are for older versions of Acrobat, but the basics are still the same (you just need to find the forms tools on the "Right Hand Pane" - the tools pane on the right side of Acrobat's user interface).
This should get you started. When you run into problems, please come back and ask followup questions.
