adobe acrobat dc highlight text option not making solid backhground on the highlighted text

Hi,

My adobe acrobat dc version is 2022.001.20169. OS is Windows 11 home.

Whenever I highlight a text (a word or a line), a box appears around the text to be highlighted, but the background is transparent.

I want the text to be highlighted and not just restricted to a colored box.

I have tried tweaking with transparency by clicking on properties, but it isn't working.

Any help would be welcome.
