Historically Adobe has made form features available in Acrobat Pro only.  Are you running standard or pro?

Dryne,

Thank you for responding.  I am running Adobe Acrobat DC, it does not indicate Pro version.  I have the paid Creative Cloud subscription.  I seem to have many of the tools, but not the Prepare Form tool.

Okay.  You are running standard, and this tool is unavailable under this version.  I was bitten by this same thing many years ago, and this was a reason I upgraded to Acrobat Pro from that point on.

I don't believe that's true. It should be possible to add form fields in Acrobat Standard.

Okay.  Please share with the original poster how he can use Prepare Form Tool with Acrobat DC Standard.

We would all be interested in seeing how this would be done 😄

I saw this many times looking for a way to update Acrobat Classic to the latest.

Check it out:

This post makes no sense.

The question is does the original poster have Acrobat Pro DC.  I am showing you above that a user may purchase Acrobat Standard DC, which based on my own experience does not offer this feature.  The user confirmed above that he does not have Acrobat Pro DC.

Another user above cannot confirm that Acrobat Standard DC offers this feature, although I have already confirmed that it does not.  Perhaps now you see why this is confusing.

I don't have access to this version so can't provide exact instructions, but according to this official Adobe page it should be possible: https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/acrobat/pricing/compare-versions.html

In this case, it is best if the original poster contact Adobe support for answer.
