Adobe Acrobat Edit Text Hitboxes Misalign & Numbers Appear as symbols

Hi All

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro installed on my PC which is a fairly new install of Windows 10 Pro x64 (10.0.19045)

The Adobe Acrobat version is CR 2023.006.20380 ("new" layout)

Example 1:

On the majority of documents I try and edit text, the hitboxes often merge 2 fields together into a single one and the cursor appears in strange places. Once I do edit, it messes up all the spacing! (Example 2)

Example 3:

This issue has "improved" but still nowhere near usable. If I add any text, it used to all appear as symbols, however since the last uninstall / reinstall it only affects numbers and the lower case t

I have uninstalled and reinstalled probably 3 times now. I have tried a number of different fixes over the last 6 months that others have suggested for similar issues, to no avail.

I have exactly the same version of acrobat on my laptop and none of these problems, on the exact same documents.

I'm having similar issues with a pdf conversion to Excel or Word.  The format and data do not align with the original document(s).  My IT support has been able to figure it out and sent me to Adobe Support.  They in turn sent me back to my IT administrator for help....go figure...

Not really the same issue as above. I would recommend you start a new thread about your issue, and include in it the exact details of how you're converting the file (what exact command you're using) , as well as your Office and Acrobat versions.

I would say this is to be expected, since PDF files were never meant to be edited in this way, but your last line is strange. It should work the same across machines, assuming it's the same application version and file.

I would disagree, since on my laptop 99% of the time there's no issues.

Exactly the same files. Exactly the same software version. Different behaviour!?
