I'm trying to switch from PDF Expert to Adobe Acrobat on my iPad but having issues with Google Drive integration. Here's my situation:

Currently, I use:

  • iPad with PDF Expert for PDF annotations (highlights, comments)
  • Google Drive for file storage
  • Google Drive desktop app on MacBook Air for local sync

This setup works perfectly - I can access and edit PDFs on any device, with changes syncing automatically. Files are also available offline on my MacBook.

The problem: When trying to replicate this workflow with Adobe Acrobat on iPad, I can't access the Google Drive folders that are synced with my desktop. The folders simply don't appear in Acrobat's interface.

Questions:

  1. Is there a way to make Acrobat on iPad see my desktop-synced Google Drive folders?
  2. If not, is there an alternative workflow to achieve the same functionality using Acrobat?
