This is genuinely one of the worst programs I have ever used. The developers and owners of this garbage should be embarrased and issuing a statement and refund to any poor souls forced to get the paid versions. This software isnt even good enough to be free. It stops responding if I scroll, click, open anything, or even leave it alone for all of 30 seconds. No I do not need an update already tried that multiple times. 0/10 absolute garbage and waste of space.

Hi,
We are sorry to hear about your frustrating experience with the product. We'd like to give a try, in order to get this resolved for you.
Is this latest version of Acrobat that started not to respond suddenly or you have been having this problem from long?
Since you have already tried updating the app multiple time and its running on latest version, so we'd like you to try the following steps and let us know if that helps:
1- Use this cleaner tool for the complete cleanup of the app. https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html
2- Once done, install the app once again https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/download-install-acrobat-subscription.html
3- If it still doesn't give any luck, then Turn off protected view
In Acrobat, go to Edit > Preferences, and then select Security (Enhanced) from the Categories on the left.
4- If nothing works, then create an Hidden Admin account (Windows) and try launching the Acrobat to check its performance.
Let us know the result.
Thanks,
Akanchha
