Adobe Acrobat - Multi-Line options in text fields

When the Multi-line option is checked in a text field, is there a script that will limit the character count on one line before it automatically jumps to the second line without hitting Enter?

In theory it's possible to do it, but it's very complicated, as the width of each character is different and depends on the font type and letter size.
