Adobe Acrobat opens new window

I work at an office and we are having a difficult time trying to figure out why adobe keeps opening a new window after every scan (PDF) it completes. My scanner is Fujitsu Fi-5120C, we have the paid version of adobe. We cant seem to understand why this is happening, any support will help a long way

Can you share the screenshot of the new window opens up? I assume you are referring to the new window of Acrobat after creating a pdf from scanner?

If yes, then you may try changing the following preferences settings and see the result: Open Acrobat >Edit>Preferences>General>

Check "Open document as new tab in the same windows">Restart Acrobat

Please do let me know if there is a gap in understating your issue or you meant to something else.
