I'm editing a PDF in Acrobat Pro, a Parts Manual with lots of tables. Using the TouchUp Object tool, I highlight and copy part of a table (so I can enter new part numbers). When I choose Paste (either from the drop-down menu, or Ctl+V), it brings me back to page one of the document, and does not Paste anything anywhere.
Is there a setting that is preventing me from pasting successfully? Or is it something else?
Thanks for your help!
P.S. I did a search before asking my question, but couldn't find anything this specific.

I may be completely off track, but if you just copy some elements and then paste, maybe they just paste over the top and you don't see anything new. May be worth noting the version of Acrobat too, since this is not a tool in the current version. A screen shot might help too (note: you CANNOT reply by email with a screen shot).

Thanks for starting a dialogue. It's Acrobat Pro 9.
I'd be psyched if it were simply pasting it on top of the original text, so I could move it, but no luck. It just brings me to page 1. So weird. I can use the TouchUp Text tool to edit the text in the tables, but can't add more rows.
If this is not a tool in the current version, how does one make this type of edits? (No need to go into detail, just wondering.)
Here's a copy of the page:

I have a viewpoint that I am sure will be unwelcome, but here it is. How to do this sort of thing in Acrobat? You don't. This is infinitely far beyond what Acrobat editing is suitable for. You edit or recreate the original.

The original document was created in InDesign, but since that document has disappeared, I've been instructed by my boss to make the edits in Acrobat. I know it's pushing the limits.
That being said, I HAVE been able to do this in the past (and it magically works on my boss' computer, with the same version of Acrobat), so that's why I wondered if there was a setting in preferences, etc. that may have been turned on/off. In any case, isn't it weird that it simply jumps back to page one?
I'll likely recreate the table in InDesign (or Excel) and insert the page...or ask my boss to do it himself! ;-D
Thanks for your suggestions.

I thinking making up a replacement page in another app, then replacing it using Acrobat, would be enough like "doing it in Acrobat" to satisfy everyone.

Hi Karen,
I just saw your query on pasting the data. I too facing same issue while pasting the content.
earlier I used get it but don't know why this is behaving differently and not allowing to paste.
Did you get any solution for this issue.
