Adobe Acrobat Pro DC Not Recognizing Korean Text

Hello,

Korean text won't display on Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I only see empty boxes instead of characters. I have looked for a Korean language font pack online but those I could find were for other versions and I've read somewhere that it is supposed to be already included in the software package of Acrobat Pro DC. However, it doesn't make sense since it is not working. Could you please help me solve this problem, please?

Thank you.

Hi,

I've been reading this post a few days now trying to get an answer for you. I had to go back in my older posts and found this: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/adobe-reader-dc-language-pack-fro-version-2020-006-200...

See if the workaround that I provided for another user helps you resolve this issue.

If you have any questions let me know.

Seriously Adobe is getting crap—still errors for non-English characters. Seriously, I shouldn't have paid for a malfunctioning app.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Would you mind sharing more details about the issue you are experiencing? What is the language (Non English) you are using and what error message are you getting? A screenshot of the same or a small video recording of the steps you are taking would be very helpful.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.01.20615 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

We are here for help, just need more information.
