Recently, whenever I attempt to open an Adobe Acrobat Pro DC file, I receive the following message - "We can't verify your subscription status".

I am connected to the Internet and I am able to successfully login to my Adobe Acrobat Pro DC account.

My computer is a Dell and I’m using Windows 7.  I don't know which update of Windows 7 I’m using nor how to locate that information.

Can someone help?

Hi Brenker

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Do you have Trend Micro security software installed on your system? if yes, please checkout the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/cant-verify-your-subscription-status.html and see if that works for you.

If it still doesn't work, please try to check your connection to Adobe server and try resetting the host file manually as described here https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

Let us know if you experience any trouble and need more help.

Regards

Amal

Hi Brenker,

Adding to the above suggestion.

Please refer to the information provided in the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/eol-tls-support.html

As you are using Windows 7, I would suggest you update the application to Windows 7 Service Pack 1.

Hope the information helps.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
