I've run into a couple issues with Adobe Acrobat Pro.
The first is losing functionality while trying to comment on a PDF. This typically involves adding text, drawing some shapes, and occasionally inserting images. When I lose functionality I lose the ability to pan around the PDF and I am no longer able to move anything I have drawn or any images I have insterted. Holding down shift to draw 90 and 45 degree lines also no longer works. This happens with multiple different PDFs. The only thing that seems to fix the issue is closing down the program and opening it back up. Is there a better solution?
My second issue is Adobe Acrobat Pro will freeze and crash while I am in the middle of working on a PDF. This forces me to lose my progress on that PDF and any others I have open at the time. THe only work around I've found for this is saving after every change I make. Is there anything I can do to prevent the program from freezing and subsequently crashing?

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that
Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.
What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.08.20470 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3HXNc8Q and check.
