Adobe acrobat pro Version 2023.001.20174 64 Bits

Hi Support team and Adobe community,

Here is my issue, I have a user who zoom in and out of more than 15 different files *. PDF at the same times, the reason is pretty simple, he is doing this rectification of project plan that was draft into those PDF files, when zooming with the hand in and out of all those file, it would work easy and smoothly for a wile, and then it will just stop working.

If user close all 15 PDF and Adobe acrobat pro, and then reopen all different other PDF file, then, the user would be able to work smoothly again for another wile and then, I will just stop working again and so one.  And user will have to reclose everything and reopen to be able to work.

User have Win 10 22H2 , regular Dell Latitude I7 with 16 Geg of ram and 500 Gb SSD, nothing to fancy, but work properly, beside this issue with Adobe acrobat pro.

After following some Adobe support suggestion like updating Adobe Acrobat Pro and following other suggestion like uninstall with AdobeAcroCleaner suggest by Adobe support team. I am always back to square one with this issue, it works for a wile and then it stops working and back to square one!

Is there an issue with the Adobe acrobat cache by any chance, because it seem like to be the case

Any other suggestion to debug this issue, you help would be mostly appreciated?

Please let me know.

Thanks you

Gilles

Hi @Gillesbeliveau1225

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

Make sure you have the recent version 23.03.20244 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Let us know how it goes.

Amal
