Hello - My computer crashed and I'm trying to obtain an authorization code to install. Abode won't provide support or a code enabling use. Anyone?

No, we can't help. Acrobat 8 is dead and can't be activated any longer, sorry.

I am in the same boat. Had a PC crash at work that ran this. I have the disc and serial number etc...but it's telling me I have 30 days to activate, and have no ability to do so.
I can totally see not supporting the product anymore..but taking away any ability to activate/use a product I've already paid money for, and that still works, is ridiculous, if not illegal.
Genuinely don't know what to do here to continue use of this product.

I agree, but there's really nothing that can be done about it. Acrobat 8 can no longer be used.
I do think that Adobe is aware this is problematic, which is why they're offering some people free upgrades, although you should know that Acrobat X is also outdated, and not compatible with any current OS version. You also can't upgrade from it to the current version.

That's not the issue.
