Adobe Acrobat reader uninstalling and Adobe Acrobat pro installing automatically

New Here ,
Oct 27, 2021 Oct 27, 2021

Hi All,

I've run into a problem with an Adobe Acrobat Reader installation on a terminal server, it seems to regularly be getting uninstalled and replaced by Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Genuine Service. This is causing quite a few issues as almost none of our users require Adobe Acrobat Pro and the users that do need it have it installed on their physical desktop instead.

I cant seem to find any documentation on Adobe Acrobat Reader terminal server installations, has anyone else ran into this issue before?

Thanks,

Hi WillboP

Hope you are doing well and sporry to hear that. As described, Adobe Acrobat reader uninstalling and Adobe Acrobat pro installing automatically.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC you are using?  To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 21.07.20099 installed from the help menu > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Regards'

Amal
