Adobe Acrobat X: file name doesnt appear in title header, can't delete a sheet

Simplistic user of Adobe for pdf viewing, editing, combining, etc.  About a month ago the program stopped showing the new saved name I give it after downloading a document.  It alos doesn't allow me to prefrom simple procedured like deleting a sheet.  Error message: "One or more pages are in use and could not be deleted." This makes no sense because only one pdf file is open.  Not a huge issue but I'd like both of these issues rectifiec if possible.

To solve issue #1 go to File - Properties - Initial View and change the Show setting to "File Name":
