Hello,

I've been having this issue for like few weeks out of sudden. I've decided to ask community for help because I'm totall at a loss, I have no idea what else I can do.

Here's list of the things I've tried:

1) acrofix (worked before when I had this problem)

2) adobe cleaner and then reinstallation of acrobat

3) deactivating licence via other apps and then reactivating it

4) deinstallation of whole Adobe CS6 Suite with adobe cleaner app, and then clearing registry

5) tried this steps: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/manage-account/kb/troubleshoot-creative-cloud-sign-out-sign-in.html

6) and this: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/adobe-sign-in-loop.html#win_10

7) also this: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/acrobat-x-pro-won-t-start/td-p/9682007?page=1

8) and finally this: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/acrobat-failed-launch-30-days.html

Windows 10 v.1903

Adobe Creative Suite CS6 (it works just fine on my co-worker workstation - 2 computer licence)

As I mentioned above, problems started suddenly without any reason (no new installs, licences etc), at least to my knowledge.

If you have any idea what else I can try, I would be very grateful if you tell me.

1. You've told us what you tried, but you have not described your problem in detail. Please describe the problem exactly, with screen shots (no personal info in them please).

2. CS6 was sold with a license for two computers used only only by ONE person. It was not sold to allow use on two different people's computers, it is a one person license.

3. Acrobat X is long past end of life and is failing completely for many people. This is museum software.

Thank you for your reply,

1. A windows with serial numebs pops up, I enter serial number, then next window appears that states I'll be log in via my username (correct email adress visible in program), after I click "log in", windows dissapears and nothing happens. When it happens next time I'll do screenshots but it's not an english version)

2. I forgot to add that the other workstation doesn't use it constatly. It's just installed there, rarely used. It happens even if the other workstation is turned off.

3. I was afraid that would be the case, but it was working just fine until now.

2. That doesn't matter. If it's activated there then it's activated, even if you don't it or switch off the computer. Even if you uninstall it it will remain activated there. You have to manually deactivate it via the Help menu for the activation counter to be decreased by one.

Thank you for advice. I'll try deactive one licence and post the results. It's weird thought, it worked like that for at least 3 years and suddenly it decided it's not good enough.

What's your EXACT version number of Acrobat X? Have you tried running it in Compatibility Mode with an earlier OS (since it's not compatible with Windows 10)?

It might be time to bite the bullet and get a new license for the current version (2020 or DC)...

This is laughable at best.  Adobe have over the last few years scuppered as many CS6 licences as they can.

We had this very same issue, Adobe said our keycode was compromised and it was down to the company that sold it to us... We brought the package direct from Adobe ,  this is why i say laughable at best.

This is what happens when you buy 2 bit software from a company that cares not 1 bit.
