I have been using Acrobat X Pro version 10.1.16 to create an modify forms. When I tried to modify a downloaded form, the Edit option was changed to 'Edit in Designer'. I assume the form was originally desined with Lifecycle Designer. Is there a work around to edit this form in Acrobat X Pro? What are my options other than purchasing the Lifecycle Designer which I typically do not need to use?

LiveCycle Designer came with Acrobat Pro X (only on Windows, though). If you have the installer you should be able to get access to it. If not, you will need to purchase it separately now.
