I have reinstalled my legacy product after a system failure. I now receive constant messages that my serial number is not valid as I already have an activation tied to my my serial number. This is wrong- I don't have another activation. I have been going in circles tryingto contact Adobe to have this corrected or give mee a new serial number that will work.

If you didn't deactivate before your system failure (unlikely), it is reading the previous install as an activation. You _should_ be allowed two activations at a time. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter as that version is no longer supported including for activation issues. Plus, the activation servers have been shut down.

Thank you for replying. I do find it somewhat offensive that Adobe's system can shut down a product with perpetual licence purchased well before subscription services became their "golden" ticket. I am not interested at all in support for Acrobat X- I fully understand end of life cycle and support for products that are well past their "best before date". What I want to be able to do is to continue to use my product within the licencing terms & condition in effect when the product was purchased and for the Vendor to honor its comittment for a perpetual licence for the same.
