Adobe Acrobat X Standard - Installation File needed

Guest
Nov 22, 2013 Nov 22, 2013

Hello,

in our company we use Acrobat X Standard on a computer. This computer is now replaced by a newer one.

The old original Acrobat X Standard CD is not readable anymore. We still have the Serial Code.

What to do to install the program on the new computer? Where can I download the installation file? Is there another way?

Hope anybody can help!

Andreas

Hi Andreas_,

Acrobat X Standard is no longer available on our website for download. If you had placed an order online then you could have logged in to your Adobe account and download from there.

Since you have bought a boxed product this option is not applicable for you.

I have sent a download link to your email for Acrobat X Standard via Adobe Send Now. You can download and archive the copy for later usage as well.

Hi Rave,

I just got a MS Surface to replace my Dell.  Could you also send me a link to download Acrobat X.  It came preloaded my old Dell.

Hi Rave,

I am yet another user who can't get the Acrobat X Standard disc to work on her brand new Windows 8 machine.  Can you forward me the download link for it as well?

Thank you!

Same boat here.  Have Acrobat X Standard and a serial number.

New laptop, but no installation software   Any chance I could get that link too?

Seems rather odd and that Adobe doesn't make purchased older version downloads available on the website.

Hello Rave,

I have the same problem as everyone in this thread. May I also have the download link for Acrobat Standard X? We have the serial number (software was purchased separately from hardware) and just need to re-download to a new PC.

On the former computer, when I proceed with "deactivating", I have a choice to "susend activation" or "deactivate permanently"..what's the difference?

Thanks,

Michael

epic2358 - Suspending activation is if it's only a temporary thing.  Like you borrow your brothers computer to do a project because it's a nicer computer but he doesn't have Acrobat..  You can install it, then suspend the licence on your machine and activate it on his temporarily.  When you're done with your project, you can then reactivate it on your machine without any hassle.

Deactivate perminatally is like if your current machine is fried and you want to permenataly activate your liscence on a new machine and will never install it on your previous machine (all this is assuming you have the install file you paid for.  You know that one that isn't available anywhere)..

Make sense?

Go to the link in (81) and move down to the Acrobat download. My understanding is that this is the regular AA X download. Since you have the license code, that should do the job.

If you don't feel like waiting for Rave to send you a link, read back in the threads a little a link to download Acrobat X Standard has been mentioned many times..  Post #67 for example:

http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-x-10-pro-reader-suite-direct-d ownload-links-ddl.html

There is a link for X standard and X Professional.

Follow the instructions under where it says "Note: Very Important Instructions"on that page to enable the download link otherwise you'll get an access denied when you click it.   Basically all the directions are having you do is sign into your Adobe account - this sets a cookie in your browser, then the link will work.  Shazam, you can download the installer.

Click the given link and follow the instructions on the pageit takes you to.

If you get confused  see post #71 in this thread.

Hi All,

I have sent the links for Acrobat 10 and 11 Standard to whoever has requested.

Sorry for the delay as I have not been getting much time to spend on forums these days.

You can also download the same from :

http://http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-x-10-pro-reader-suite-direct-download-links-ddl.html

But make sure you follow the very important instructions on the page before initiating the download.
