hello my problem issue is when im trying to install adobe acrobat reader.  they need my username and password i wrote the username and password but its not working please help me what should i do

There is no ONE password for this. The Operating system on your computer is asking for the password you use to sign in, sign onto, your computer when you first turn it on. If by chance you never set a Sign On, Sign In, password, which in my experiences with Mac computers running OS X is very hard to do, then just leave that space blank.

It is NOT your Yahoo password. That is to access your Yahoo email account.

It more than likely the Username and password for the OS you are using. Like you use when starting up your computer.

Especially if you are on a Apple Mac computer.

Select, or Type in, your User Name and then the Password you use to Log in to your computer.

The OS is looking for the User and password for that User to allow the install of the program.

This, more than likely, has Nothing to do with your Adobe ID username and password. It is a OS password that is needed.

Only you know what that password is.

When you turn on your computer, or Restart your computer, do you need to Type In a password for the desktop to load?

If so it is that password you need to type in.

No one but you knows that password.

Other then that I can't help you further.

Here is the support page from Apple if you lost your Apple password. If you need further help, you need to call Apple. You can't install applications unless you know your Apple id and password. It's for security.

If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support

If you have a second Admin account in Users and Groups, you can reset your password. Otherwise, Apple needs to help you with this.
