We have a user that regularly attaches PDFs to emails by dragging them into Outlook. For some reason, the Adobe Document Cloud add-in, which turns them into links. We have disabled and removed the add-in and tried removing all PDFMaker options for Microsoft via the "Modify" option of the install. In spite of this, the add-in kept coming back. Is there a way to permanently remove it short of uninstalling all Adobe products?

The solution from the first link had already been tried. The add-in always comes back, presumably after Adobe updates. The solution from the second link did not apply, but there was another answer that does appear to apply. I have made the registry adjustment as follows:
changed LoadBehavior from 3 to 0 in both HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\AdobeAcroOutlook.SendAsLink and HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\AdobeAcroOutlook.SendAsLink
I will continue to monitor and let you know if the issue pops up again.
