Adobe Document Cloud unintentional connections

New Here ,
Sep 15, 2025 Sep 15, 2025

Hello,

Since 2 weeks, in our IT invironment we went from 0 to 300+ users connecting to Adobe Document Cloud. This is an unintentional connection and happens when opening Acrobat. As wel as for the paid as for the free version.

As we block this usage for our Data Loss Prevention policies, we get a lot of alerts that people are connecting.

Has there been any update to Acrobat? Is there an automatic connection to the cloud, and we globally disable this? And what kind of data is being transferred?

Thanks.

@djoir you can check the Adobe's server-side status, https://status.adobe.com/

Hi,

Thanks for sharing. The servers being down is not the issue.

The issue is that since 2 weeks all Adobe users are connecting to Adobe Document Cloud automatically when using Acrobat, which is blocked in our company. This has never happend before, but since 2 weeks we went from 0 to 300+ users connecting to it. So my question is if there has been any  update recently that automatically connects to Adobe Document Cloud, and if it is using any of the data sent.
