Adobe documents show as blank pages on my printer preview

When I try to print an Adobe Acrobat pdf, the printer preview shows blank pages, and the printer also prints blank pages.  This only started recently.  The printer printed Adobe pdfs just fine in the past.  This is a Brother MFC-J6955DW printer.

@Deborah99901 when was the last time the printer driver was updated? I know my Epson printers seems to be updated every couple of months. An outdated or incorrect driver can cause printing issues. Try updating or reinstalling the latest Brother MFC-J6955DW driver from the Brother support website (it appears, there was a recent update on 04/10/2025).

This is probably could time to check all ink levels, print alignment, and paper levels too; even if they appear okay, try removing and reseating the ink cartridges to ensure proper contact. A clogged print head can also lead to blank pages, so run the print head cleaning utility from your printer's menu or the Brother software on your computer.

If the problem still exists after doing all that, there might be an issue with Adobe Acrobat itself; try repairing the installation through the Help menu or checking for updates.
