When I open a file in Adobe Acrobat DC, I get a popup telling me about collecting e-signatures.  While that is a feature that I use, how do I discontinue the annoying pop-up?

Hi Hermanal

We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are getting the pop up for collecting e-signatures while opening the PDF and wants to disable it

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs that you open? Please try to open a different PDF file and check.

What is the workflow/steps you are doing to open the file? Are you opening it in a web browser or Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC?

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC
Make sure you have the latest version 20.009.20067 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates.

You may also try to reset the preferences to default and see if that works for you. For more information about how to reset the prefrences, please refer to the help article https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792...

Let us know how it goes

Amal

Hi @Mike278024768ahb

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.3.20281 (MAC) or 22.3.20282 (Win) installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and see if that works.

Green One's screen print shows exactly what I ancounter too. I don't need to be reminded about checking out e-sign tools everytime when I use the tools sidebar. Amal, just talk to marketing and the product design and have have it fixed.
