Adobe Harmon.ie issue

I'm trying to open files from Harmon.ie in Adobe and receiving the following error:

I spoke with a rep from harmon.ie, and they recommended that I update the regedit:

That being said, I’ve tried the following and am still encountering the error. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to get Harmon.ie to open PDFs without the issue above? Would I need to update a setting in Adobe or Regedit?

It's more likely the problem is with the file, not the application. Are you able to open it elsewhere, or to share it with us?

I can open the file perfectly by following this workaround:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Click the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Settings at the bottom of the dropdown.
  4. Go to Default browser.
  5. Temporarily set Edge as the default browser.
  6. Under Internet Explorer compatibility, do the following:
    • Change Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode (IE mode) from Default to Allow.
  7. Click Restart to apply the changes.

Edge will restart and reopen. 8. Click Add next to Internet Explorer mode pages, and enter this URL: https://yourcompany.sharepoint.com 9. Visit the SharePoint site from Edge. 10. Click the three-dot menu icon again and select Reload in Internet Explorer mode. A popup should appear.

Next:

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat.
  2. On the left panel, under Other File Storage, select Add file storage.
  3. Choose SharePoint and enter the SharePoint site URL.
  4. Click Continue and confirm that the folders from SharePoint are successfully populated in Adobe.

Finally, go back to Edge, click the three-dot menu icon, and select Exit Internet Explorer mode. If Chrome was your default browser, remember to switch it back.

Note: This workaround only lasts for a month since we activate IE mode.
