I have Acrobat Pro XI. Much like this thread, since upgrading to Windows 10 I can no longer print anything to the Adobe PDF "printer".
The print dialog opens and I name a file and folder, then zilch.

Hi ,
Are you able to print other documents on Windows 10 other than PDF'?
Do you see any error message while printing ?If yes please share the screen shot of the same.
Also try printing some other PDF and compare the outcome.
Meanwhile you could refer the following link and perform the mentioned steps and see if that fixes the issue.

I think you misunderstand. I have no problem printing on an actual printer, it is the Adobe PDF virtual "printer" that does not work.

Right click on “Start” icon positioned at the bottom left corner of your screen.
Click on “Control Panel”.
On selecting “Category” view, click on “View Devices and Printers”.
Click on “Add a Printer”.
If there are several printers that can be added to your PC, select any Printer and click on “Next”.
You can choose any of the given options to install your printer. For instance, we’ve selected on “Adding a Printer using a TCP/IP Address or hostname”.
You can select the “Device type” of your printer by selecting it from the drop down list.
Now, Enter the IP Address of your Printer. For instance, we’ve entered 1.1.1.1
Click on “Next” to complete the process.

This might be your answer.
Windows 10 has an installed "printer" Microsoft Print to PDF. All you need to do is set that as one of your printers.

Tried to reinstall the printer, was I meant to use a new or existing driver?
The Microsoft Print to PDF is not as flexible as Adobe Print to PDF.

I also have major problems with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and Windows 10 since December 2019. I was told by some vendor that last time Windows made an update, Adobe Acrobat Pro XI stopped working. Too bad. Just buy a newer version. Well, guess what? My Adobe Acrobat Pro XI worked wonderfully before someone decided to change something in Windows 10. That is REALLY not fair!
