Adobe just updated my premium Acrobat, and when I opened up a document this morning, Side panels and toolbars to the left and right of my document. Support tells me there are no way to close side panels so that I can have full view of the screen. Recommended I post here.

this is a major inconvenience for me, and I know that side panels can be closed when using Acrobat for windows. It seems like this ought to be available for iOS as well, but Tech Support told me there was no way to do this.  I just want my screen to look the way it did before this inconvenient update was issued.

Is there a way I can stop these updates from happening automatically?
