Adobe Pro 2020 - Not allowing me to skip sign-in after installation

New Here ,
May 07, 2025 May 07, 2025

We have a pool of volume licence keys for our users and we have been having no issues up to now. When i go to install Adobe Pro 2020, it asks me to sign in or skip at the end as normal. We also just skip as these are a perpetual volume licence key. Normally we just click skip and Adobe Pro 2020 opens up just fine, however not now. When we hit skip, it just says "Sorry something went wrong - Please try launching Acrobat first...contact your administrator" and Adobe Pro 2020 closes down. If you launch it again, the same thing happens. I have tried with multiple users and they are all getting the same thing.

Any suggestions on why this might be? It was working fine yesterday as i did an install for a user.

Hi @Ad39019021d32y

Thank you for reaching out. Considering you have volume licenses, to suppress the sign-in prompt and create a licensed installation of Acrobat Pro 2020, we recommend using the Adobe Customization Wizard. This tool allows you to configure deployment settings, including:

  • Suppressing the sign-in screen

  • Applying a serial number (for perpetual licenses)

  • Customizing installation behavior and user experience

Download the Customization Wizardhttps://adobe.ly/4kaV87S

Guide for Acrobat 2020:

Follow the steps under the Licensing and Activation section to suppress sign-in and apply license info.

Let us know if you have further questions.
