I have several users that when they print to pdf the original file triples in size.  Example: original file size 600kb after sending to print to pdf 1800kb.  All users are selecting the reduce file size however this has no effect to the size.  This is causing the files to not being able to send to the network printer.  When these files get sent they lock up the printer and we have to get the network team to purge that print job off the server to release other jobs to print.  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Why print in PDF format?
Using the Save or the Save As function is always quicker and more efficient.

I asked one of the clients your question and here is her answer.

"Because I only need certain parts of the file, and it will not give me a save as choice. It only allows the Adobe cloud save."
