Adobe Pro - Print to PDF not working

Recently, when I try to print one pdf file to another pdf file, the print progress stops at about 20% and won't complete. I need this in my business to convert / format certain pdf files for e signatures.

What is your OS and version? What is your Acrobat and version?

Even as it works (typically), printing a PDF file to an Acrobat printer is not exactly supported.
