Macht es Sinn Adobe Reader 5.0.5.exe installieren um PDF von 2001 zu öffnen, die sich nicht öffnen lässt.

Und was passiert mit der neuesten Version von Acrobat Reader dann . Kann die alte und neue Version parallel laufen?

I am not sure why installing the older version would make the file openable, it would probably be better to try and work out why the file cannot be opened.

Are any errors shown when you try to open it?

No. Any (valid) PDF file can be opened using the current version of Reader. There shouldn't be a need to install such an old version of Reader (nor is it likely to be possible in the first place), just to be able to open it.

What happens when you try to open it in the current version, Reader DC?
