The version 22.003.20282 crashes constantly.
Currently there is no newer version and the "Disable Protected View" setting doesn't help, we are forced to uninstall this version and install an older version.
This helps only for some days, because the program updates itself to the version which crashes.
Our service technicians are blocked of thier tasks at the construction sites, as they are depending on the information platform, whis is build up with thausans of PDF documents.
We are desperate - is there any alternativ to PDF reader?
Thank you anybody for any tipp.

Hi @avescoag
Sorry to hear about the trouble caused.
Looking at the description given above, it seems you have had trouble with the latest version only. However, the previous version was working fine.
Would you mind creating a new user profile with full admin rights and running the latest version on that to test if it works well?

This time, try disabling the protected mode at startup as well
Navigate to Reader>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected Mode at Startup" and "Enhanced Security">OK>Reboot Reader [Windows]
Thanks,
Akanchha
