Adobe save location defaults to C:\Users\<user id>\AppData\Local/Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

We are trying to save an adobe file to a location where it last remembers.  However, it keeps changing the default location to C:\Users\<user id>\AppData\Local/Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5.  It does not happen to other workstations.

We are on Adobe Acrobat XI version 11.0.09.

I tried going to Edit>Preferences>Documents(category)>Save Settings(on the right) and unchecked "Automatically save document changes to temporary file every: __ minutes (1-99) but that did not work.

Any ideas on what else I can try.

Hi,

Can you please try updating to the latest Adobe Acrobat XI version 11.0.19 and check if the problem persists.

For updating, Launch Adobe Acrobat, Go to  Help >> Check for Updates.

Thanks,

Shagufta
