Adobe Shared Review: extended deadline but shows review has ended

Explorer ,
Feb 28, 2020 Feb 28, 2020

A few people on my team are experiencing this issue. For an Adobe Shared Review, after you extend the deadline, some reviewers still see that the review has ended when opening the review link.

But when the initiator opens the link, it is fine and shows the new deadline. In this case, the initiator extended the review a day or two before it was due to expire.

review_ended.png

initiator: Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 version 2017.011.30138

reviewer: Acrobat Reader DC version 2019.010.20069

We'll ask if the reviewers can repair the installation.

Is there some way to refresh/clear the view for those affected?

Hey there,

Thanks for sharing the detailed information and screenshots.

I see you have mentioned about reviewers are using Acrobat Pro 2017. Is there a common pattern where only 2017 users are being affected, or its with all the reviewers?

If yes, then you can ask those reviewers to see if they can still access it using freeware Acrobat Reader DC desktop application. For testing, ask any one of them to download Reader DC (https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/) and open the shared review using this app.

Thanks,

Akanchha

Hi Akanchha,

Thanks for replying! The reviewers are already using Acrobat Reader DC version 2019.010.20069.

Best,

Stephanie
