The link you posted (or image if that was the attempt) is broken.

Would you mind reposting and elaborate a little more about the issue.

How old is the version of MS Windows and the  web browser(s) that are used to view and sign this Adobe Sign document?

So the web browser is chrome and it works. The OS build 18363. I have updated the computer, uninstall adobe standard dc, remove the license and wait for 24 hours. Still get the same error....I google the entire internet still no answer. Tried contacting Adobe no response. My users sign out and sign back in still didn't work.

Kevon were you able to sort this out?

By the way, I just noticed that a possible scammer crashed into this discussion.

I reported it to the moderator.

Hopefully you didn't click on the link that the suspected scammer posted twice , and hopefully a modetator will remove it.

Thanks for the heads up, your recommendation did not work for me. Is there any other solutions for this error or Adobe Sign does not work on the desktop application.

I was able to find a little more information for you.

You mentioned that sometimes trying to send the same signed document it works and sometimes it seems to break.

I will assume that every user has Adobe Acrobat updated to its current version and also their respective operating system(s).

So, let's say that lack of updates are not the issue, then I'm starting to think that the problem is somewhere in the structure of the script that was developed or some action rule in the script that stops such action when that rule is violated. In your case this is when the user(s) try to send the Adobe Sign document.

I found this guide : https://adobe-apiplatform.github.io/umapi-documentation/en/api/ErrorRef.html

which  led me to look in some other areas of interest:

  • See all error conditions in the link above
  • Evaluate if User Group API's are deprecated; if yes, update the script
  • Consider how user management is obtaining JSON web tokens to get authorization for requests for a particular user group; see "User Management API" section
  • Consider if there's more a user with an administrative role that may me be using more than user one profile
  • See this quote under the User Group APIs section of the link I provided above: "You can use a POST request to the action resource for your organization to manage user group memberships, and to manage administrative rights in user groups. The commands in the body of your POST request specify action steps to take for a given user"
  • Pending invitations or revocations that need to be removed
  • Managing Identity Types, see the "Create and Manage User Accounts" section and "User Management Tasks" (https://adobe-apiplatform.github.io/umapi-documentation/en/RefOverview.html)

Last, I don't have a way to test for this on my end, but  the one thing that I think could be the underlying issue of the message that your users are getting is in the "User Management API" section, read through "Authentication for API Access", and  read this part  "You specify actions for specific users in the JSON body of a POST request to the action endpoint for your organization. The JSON structure specifies a set of commands. Each command names a user or user group, and specifies one or more action steps to take for that user or group. A single request can include commands for multiple users or groups."

There seems to be a limit to a maximum of 10 users or 10 user groups per request. Look in Actions Commands under the "User Management API" section ---->> "User Management Action Commands" --->> "Command entries"  (https://adobe-apiplatform.github.io/umapi-documentation/en/api/ActionsCmds.html)
