Adobe Sign Text Tag Tooltip

When I use the Adobe Sign text tag for tooltips, the spaces in my string are deleted when I send out the document.

i.e. :tooltip("Please enter a color") becomes "Pleaseenteracolor" when the recipient views the PDF.

Why are my spaces getting deleted?
