Ever since installing Adobe software for school onto my Mac, my computer has been nearly useless! I am very disappointed in your product and since it is impossible to remove your software from my computer, I believe my only option to have a functioning computer again is to buy a new one which I cannot afford. This is a very upsetting situation your product has put me in, and I need help getting my computer back to running correctly again.

We might be able to help but we'd need more details. Please carefully answer all these questions.

1. What Adobe software exactly did you install? Please check and use the exact name.

2. What do you mean by "nearly useless"? What exactly goes wrong?

3. What error messages, if any do you get? Please quote them in full.

4. You say it's impossible to remove the software. What happens when you try, exactly?

1. Acrobat Pro DC

2. My computer will work, extremely slow, and needing to reboot with every use.

3. No error messages show, just locks up.

4. I've followed the uninstall instructions correctly and the software is still on my computer.

Hi JoeDeM

We see that currently you have got your Acrobat DC subscription canceled. However, as per the description given above seems you have had experienced freeze issues while using Acrobat DC.

2. My computer will work, extremely slow, and needing to reboot with every use.

Make sure that your system meets the requirement: Adobe Acrobat system requirements, supported platforms

3. No error messages show, just locks up.

For future reference: Troubleshoot Mac OS 10.x system errors, freezes | Adobe software

4. I've followed the uninstall instructions correctly and the software is still on my computer.

You can take help of cleaner tool to remove the application completely: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Thanks,

Akanchha

I thought i was the only one. I have barely used my imac beacuse since downloading adobe, it freezes and needs a restart everyday. My computer now moves extremely slow, unlike my buddy facing this problem, do recieve an error due to adobe software and i have reported it countless times as it requests for feedback. This is to bring awareness to this issue of apple and adobe. I enjoy using both products but this has really put a damper on my confidence in the products working seamlessly together. This may be a problem with only the iMac and Adobe, because my photoshop on iPad works well.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

If you are still experiencing this issue, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/3xg52BJ, reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://adobe.ly/3VFo6Ui; and see if that works for you.

I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing with the Adobe software installation on your Mac. Dealing with computer issues, especially when it impacts your schoolwork, can be incredibly frustrating.

I've had similar experiences in the past, and I understand how important it is to find a solution quickly. One thing you might try is using a dedicated uninstaller tool to completely remove the Adobe software from your Mac. Sometimes, the built-in uninstaller doesn't fully remove all components, which can cause lingering issues.

You can also try reaching out to Adobe customer support for assistance. They may have additional troubleshooting steps or resources to help you get your computer back to running smoothly.

I hope this helps, and I wish you the best of luck in resolving the issue!
