Hello, can someone help me?

My department have an Adobe Acrobat X Pro Version 10 DVD license, I understand that I need to properly deactivate the license from my old computer before proceeding to install it in a new computer, however, the old computer (more than 1) has been disposed and it is impossible for me to retrieve and deactivate the license key in the old computers. The app kept blocking me from using it (as per screenshot here below).

I contacted Adobe customer service for activation count reset (I read about this from other post here), the agent said the license key is good to go. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software, but the result is still the same. The agent ask me to not key-in the license key during installation, but instead, choose "Trial" and activate the license from Help - Register after the installation. However, after the installation, I can't even open the software because the below error message prompted first, I don't have the option to key-in the license key at all. I have tried uninstall and reinstall many times, deleted all the registry files, but it seems like the problem is with my computer now? I have also tried using the installer from the DVD, and tried using the installer that the agent sent a link to me, both not working.

We can't help with this issue. You need them to reset it again, and then try it again.

I would recommend you run it in Compatibility Mode with an older OS (such as Windows 7), as Acrobat X is not compatible with any current OS, which can cause issues.
