Hello,

I ask for forgiveness upfront as I attempt to explain my issue:

I am a MAC user and own an Adobe Pro license.

In the last week Adobe Pro became unusable. The program began to lag, freeze, and then crash.  I went through the posts and decided to uninstall (properly using uninstaller) and then reinstalled.

Now if I log out, the app deactivates the program, and I am unable to use AdobePro at all unless I am signed in. This is the message I receive:

If I click sign out and then try to open a .pdf with AdobePro (set to default) the program will attempt to reinstall and ask me for login and serial number….every time

Prior to the uninstall, I  was able to use the app to view .pdf. A login was required to use the “pro” features. Now it appears that I must be logged in to use the software. Furthermore, if I log out the SW is deactivated. I don’t understand given I purchased a license.

Is there a work around?

Or must I remain logged in to use the Adobe Pro, even though I purchased the program?

Is there any way to stop the program from uninstalling?

I please let me know if I did not convey this appropriately.

I assume you are using Acrobat Pro (Adobe have a number of different Pro apps, including Premiere Pro as well, so let us know if the guess is wrong). What is the exact version of Acrobat Pro that you are running? And what is your version of macOS?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry to keep you waiting.

Please update the application to the recent version 20.005.30314 from the help menu > check for updates and reboot the computer once. You may also download the patch manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html and check if that helps.
