AdobeResourceSynchronizer or Adobe Acrobat Synchronizer

On a Mac under Catalina, I have a login item (in system preferences) called "AdobeResourceSynchronizer". Selecting it with a right click let me reveal the this application in the Finder.

The revealed file is named "Adobe Acrobat Synchronizer".

I guess the latter has replaced the former.

Do I need this application to be launched at login and for what?

do you have acrobat pro or acrobat reader installed on your computer?

Yes, Acrobat DC v22.002.20212.

The synchronize creates local copies of data found on a server so that you can access the data even if that server is inaccessible. If you do not access data on a network you can disable this startup
