What tool are you using to create the 3D PDF files?

Hi,
I had this issue with my Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and Adobe Acrobat DC reader and the "solution" we found to fix it was this one:
Go in the Adobe cache folder:
C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acrobat
Then rename the folders:
DC --> DC_old
and
2015 --> 2015_old
(you can delete those folders, they will be re-created, but I prefer the renaming ).
Then run your program, it should be OK.

Ran into the same trouble; kept receiving "a 3d data parsing error has occurred" opening files with 3D models from different clients. Even tried installing Adobe Reader to see if that worked, which it did not.
jehronimo your solution fixed the problem opening files with 3D content. Thank you!

I rename my ApplData/local director to Acrabat_old every day and sometimes more than once a day to open 3D PDF files. Is there a longer term fix in the works?
