Tested new AI Assistant with some 2-3 pages US English PDFs. Intentionaly added some typos and grammar errors. It always say something like "Based on the provided text, there are no apparent spelling errors in the document."
If ask it to check again, somtimes it catches few typos but not all. In my opinion it is something basic that AI Assistant should be able to do.

AN AI assistant is not a spellchecker. For checking the spelling, I would rely on a spellchecker. Spellchecking does not require AI.

Thank you, Abambo. I appreciate your response. However, I was hoping for a more comprehensive solution. Currently, Acrobat's spell-check feature is limited to editable text fields or text editing. It would be incredibly useful if Acrobat could scan the entire open document for typos and grammatical errors, providing a more thorough proofreading experience. This feature would greatly enhance the overall functionality of the software.
