Align text down

Hello, I created a fillable form in Adobe Acrobat Pro. When you type in the filed the text is showing centered in between the box, so hovering above the box line. how do I create a setting to allign the text to appear on the line so that when i send the form out to be filled it will automatically align near the bottom of the field box? Also, My "ALIGN" tools are grayed out, so i'm unable to use them. i was thinking that's how i would do it.

Right. But you cant predisposition the alignment of the text? Only if there is existing text in the field?

No, you can't pre-set vertical alignment in a text field.
